Agnetha Faltskog

While she's made an impact as a solo artist from Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be remembered as the 'ABBA' member, one of the most commercially successful and internationally adored rock bands of all time. At the age of 15, she quit school to explore a career in music after which she began singing in Bernt Enghardt's group and attracted a fan following. She was able to secure a recording contract by Enghardt and the debut single topped the charts in Sweden. Bjorn married her, and she became a part of ABBA. Over the course of eight years, the group would become one of the top pop acts in the world that won multiple platinum and gold medals around the globe. After ABBA they released three albums, namely "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman in addition to I Stand Alone'. Each of them was hugely successful in Sweden. They also enjoyed a huge popularity in Europe. But, they were not a major hit on the American scene. ABBA played on the show 'Mamma Mia! '. Within the U.K."My Coloring Book" has reached the top spot at 11. Her new album 'A', has also enjoyed a great reception. Agnetha Agnetha Agnetha Agnetha Agnetha
